As we are seeing lots of earthy tones and textures evolve into a big trend this year I thought it would be helpful to share what has caught my eye in home decor recently.

1. Pillows & Throws

Throw blankets and accent pillows are a great way to cozy up your living space for winter! For throw blankets, consider a cotton blanket with a top-stitch or fringe. For accent pillows, consider grouping them in similar beige/warm tones with different textures and patterns.

2. Wood Accessories

Wooden accessories are a good way to tie in the earthy/organic look. Natural materials are always best for adding unique elements and raw textures that can be accessorized with something as simple as vases and bowls. Check out the Coastal Wood Vases & Bowls from west elm and Wood Cake Stand from H&M HOME. The cake stand would look nice on a coffee table with a candle and smaller decorative items or used as a kitchen island centerpiece. The wooden vases are nice decorative pieces for a living room - think of adding dried eucalyptus or natural pampas.

3. Rattan and Straw Accessories

Sometimes we are looking for the perfect decorative items on a budget. Recently our team has fallen in love with H&M HOME. They have a nice collection of rattan items that fit right into this year's trends.

If your looking for storage solutions check out the following:

  1. Rattan Storage Basket
  2. Large Folding Basket

The great thing about the large folding basket is that you can double it up as a home for your indoor plants. I think it looks super cute with a fiddle leaf or snake plant and all you need is a pot and saucer from your nearest plant shop!
